Comparing venus flytrap with pitcher plant

  1. A venus flytrap has a limited life.
  2. The only place in the entire world where Venus flytraps grow naturally is in North and South Carolina. 
    Similarities     

  1. They are both carnivorous plants.
  2. They trap insects.

  1. are located in the eastern United States, from the southeast and along the coastline up through British Columbia.
  2. They hang of trees.

      There are some very strange looking plants in the world, aren't there? You definitely wouldn't find these ones in your regular home garden. In saying that, when I was younger we had a Venus flytrap at our house. It wasn't very good at catching flies though - as soon as it moved to close it's 'mouth' on them, they would just fly away. Have you seen either of these two plants in real life? Were you able to find out how long the Venus flytrap lives for? I'd be interested to know why it has a 'limited life' as well.
