It is great to see that you have been working away on the Summer Learning Journey programme this week and thinking more about what could be done to help raise funds to save the Great Barrier Reef. I have never been to the area but I have heard that it is absolutely beautiful. I am so sad to read that it is being destroyed and that, one day, it may no longer exist at all. That would be terrible, wouldn't it?
I like the suggestions that you have made for raising money. Have you ever been a part of a fundraising effort? I used to help out with bake sales at my school by making cookies or cupcakes and selling them to raise funds. I have never been part of a garage sale but I would love to do it one day. I think that it would be great fun to organise an event and to sell items that were no longer needed.
