I think you've created some good questions to ask Dame Moncrieff about her career as a designer. Good for you!
It's really interesting to me that someone like Dame Moncrieff has the kind of imagination that leads her to make something entirely new out of reusable items. I wonder where she ever got the idea in the first place! I suspect she was aware that there's a lot of rubbish being created, and she wanted to see if there could be a good use for some of it. And, I suspect she wanted to make the point to all of us that we should be careful about what we throw out because it could possibly be used for another purpose.
What a wonderful contribution she has made to the world. Have you ever been to the WOW event in Wellington? I met a woman who goes every year - she thinks it's one of the best shows she's ever attended.
I hope you've had a good return to school and that you're happy in your new class! I'm so glad that you chose to be a part of the Summer Learning Journey.
