Ziplining in Rotorua

If I had the chance to go ziplining, I would feel delighted because first, it will be my first-time zip lining and second, ziplining sounds it is lots of fun and entertaining. But my main concern about ziplining is dying.

  1. Hi Auckland,

It's Leslie here, a member of the Summer Learning Journey team, reading your blog from my home in Canada. Going ziplining in Rotorua looks amazing from here!

I'm glad that you're willing to think of trying this sky-high activity. It's a great way to allow people to see the forests and thermal pools of the Rotorua area without causing damage to the earth by walking the pathways, isn't it? But it would be a little scary zooming along a wire so high above the ground, I think!! I can understand that you don't want anything to terrible to happen to you! Fortunately, I'm pretty confident that the companies that set up ziplines are very safety-conscious.

Have you ever been to Rotorua to see the heated pools and geysers? I've been once. It's a magical place, for sure, and rather mysterious. To see mud boiling up from under the earth's surface is rather awe-inspiring.

I hope you've enjoyed doing these SLJ activities and that you're happy in your new classroom this term!!

I'll continue to enjoy reading your blog.

    Cheers,

    Leslie
