Last Week on Friday 30 students were selected to go to the Auckland Museum. At the Museum our Theme was Weaving into Technology. At the Auckland Museum we were learning about Coding and physical kind of coding. For coding we used scratch. Scratch is a coding Website. Scratch is a Block-Base visual programing Language. In scratch we learnt how to create project using a block like interface. Now I am going to be talking about the  Physical kind of coding. For this we played a game. For this game you need to be in a pair of two. Next you have to choose which one of you is going to be the robot and which is the human. Human controls the robot. So if the human says move forward the robot has to listen.

Unique Celebrations

Unique celebrations are like the Chinese celebrate the New Year with a dragon dance. Unique celebrations are also like traditions like how Samoans have White Sunday. I am going to be exploring a lot of Unique celebrations.

One of the Unique celebrations I am going to be talking about is Holi. Holi is an Ancient Popular Hindu Festival.

It originated from the Indian Subcontinent. It is celebrated predominantly in India and Nepal but it is also sometimes celebrated in Asia. Holi is also known as the Indian Festival of Spring. Also known as the Festival of Colours and Festival of Love.

The festival signifies the coming of Spring. The Festival is celebrated on the street with a lot of coloured powder.

The Next Unique Celebration I am going to be talking about is The Day Of The Dead.The Day of the Dead is a Mexican Holiday celebrated throughout Mexico. The holiday  involves friends and family getting together and Praying to remember those who had died. It helps support their spiritual journey. In Mexico Death is viewed as a natural human cycle.Mexicans view it not as a day of sadness but as a day of celebration because their loved ones awake and celebrate with them.

This is one of my favourite Unique celebrations Burning Man. Burning Man is an event held annually in the western United State at Black Rock City, a temporary city erected in the Black Rock Desert of northwest Nevada, approximately 100 miles north-northeast of Reno. The late summer event is an experiment in community and art, influenced by ten main principles: radical inclusion, radical self-reliance, radical self-expression, communal effort, civic responsibility, gifting, decommodification, participation, immediacy and leave no trace.

The Last Celebration I am going to be talking about is Mardi Gras.

When Mardi Gras takes over the streets of New Orleans for two whole weeks it’s the carnival to rival all carnivals. Make sure you’ve got your best fancy dress costumes with you because Mardi Gras is all about dressing up. Be as wild and as exaggerated as you can imagine, then go join in the fun. Mingle among the crowds thronging the streets, follow the parades, dance the hours away to live music and marching bands then put your best foot forward at a masquerade ball. But don’t forget, there’s only one rule for Mardi Gras and that’s party until you drop.

Today I am going to be showing you one of the ways of converting a fraction into a percent.

18/72 = N/100

18 x 100 
= 1800 = 18n
1800 divided by 20 = 90

=90%

Nasa is Sending a Drone to Jupiters Moon

The space agency announced they will be sending a drone to the moon known as Titan.

The mission will be called Dragonfly. It will see a drone helicopter sent to the cold moon in search of knowledge and perhaps even life.

Dragonfly will not launch for some time. Its current launch date planned for 2026, and it will take eight years to actually make the journey.

NASA will select “dozens” of locations for the drone to visit on Titan.

Tens of thousands of people demonstrated in cities across Sudan on Saturday (local time), witnesses said, to mark 40 days since security forces killed dozens when they stormed a protest camp in the capital Khartoum.

The demonstrations were the first since the ruling military council and civilian opposition agreed in principle to a power-sharing arrangement ahead of elections. The deal has yet to be finalised and signed.

Pacific Games 2019

This year the Pacific Games are held in Samoa. If you don't know what the Pacific Games are , it is the same thing as the Common Wealth Game but only for the Pacific , like Tonga , Papua New Guinea and Samoa. Samoa is where I come from. 

Now lets see who's leading the Scoreboard. So far it is Day 7 (1 week)

🔵🔵NSW VS QLD🔴🔴

NSW and QLD are two NRL teams that clash every year.
NSW stands for New South Wales.
QLD stands for Queensland.

My favourite team is NSW which is the blue team.
Yesterday on the 10th of June was the third match whoever won the third match would be the champions.
As I predicted my favourite team won the championship 26 -20.

Matariki is a Maori New Year.

I am going to be writing a summary about the story of Matariki.

The seven sisters created a star and the korua has done much more magic when the man turn into a bird an eavesdrop on his brother. he could feel the strong winds of the wind god Tawhirimatea. and also mati loved the brothers than himself they were also fine looking that's my opinion. but because the settle for before anyone beautiful than themselves, on Pukemaire hill when they were entranced by the most beautiful singing they all suddenly stopped the listen then went inside than saw seven sisters sitting their singing than they left and that is my summary.

A theme park in Malaysia has the world's longest slide.

The Slide is 1,140m Long. It is as big as two houses.

It would take 4 minutes to get from up to bottom.

This slide was measured and checked by the guinness world records.

👨‍🍳HOW TO CREATE CHOCOLATE MUFFINS👨‍🍳

Method

Step 1: 1 cup of flour into a bowl.

Step 2: 1/2 cup of flour in the same bowl.

Step 3: 1/4 cup of cocoa in the bowl.

Step 4: 1/2 cup of sugar in the bowl.

Step 5: 1/2 cup of milk and 1 egg.

Step 6: 1/2 cup of oil.

Step 7: 2 tbsp of yoghurt.

Step 8: Mix it all in one bowl. Serve into 12 muffin tray.

Step 9 : Bake in 180*c oven for 20 minutes.
