👨‍🍳How To Create Chocolate Muffins👨‍🍳

Method

Step 1: 1 cup of flour into a bowl.

Step 2: 1/2 cup of flour in the same bowl.

Step 3: 1/4 cup of cocoa in the bowl.

Step 4: 1/2 cup of sugar in the bowl.

Step 5: 1/2 cup of milk and 1 egg.

Step 6: 1/2 cup of oil.

Step 7: 2 tbsp of yoghurt.

Step 8: Mix it all in one bowl. Serve into 12 muffin tray.

Step 9 : Bake in 180*c oven for 20 minutes.

🎙️PSA🎙️

WALA: what is a PSA.
PSA is an acronym which stands for Public Service Announcement. 
In my group we came up with a PSA called road safety.
In our group we used a storyboard to plan out our work. 
After that we found a video that related to our PSA.

🚃How I created a Wagon🚃

Steps I followed to create my Wagon.

Step 1 : I used the actual piece of wood to draw the full size drawing of my wagon. I did it because I needed to know the exact same measurements. If I messed my drawing I can fix it but if I make a mistake on my piece of wood I can't fix it.
Step 2: I used a pencil and ruler to copy the measurements from my drawing onto the piece of wood. In this step I was very careful incase I messed up.
Step 3: I marked a square line across the piece of wood using a tri-square. After I did that I let Mr Grundy check if my ruling was correct.
Step 4: I cut off the first piece of wood using a bench hook and a backed saw. I put the bench hook in the vice and used the backed saw to cut it.
Step 5: I then marked out a joint using a tri-square and a pencil.
Next I used the marking gauge to mark halfway of my joint.
Step 6: Next I used a vice to help me cut the two lines I marked with the pencil.
Step 7: I used a chisel and a mallet to chisel out the joint.
Step 8: I repeated step 5 - 7 to create another joint.
Step 9: Now Mr Grundy glued 100mm pieces of wood in the joint.
Step 10: I glued my Sides for my wagon.
Step 11: Mr Grundy drilled two holes for my wheels.
I will create another blog post about the rest of the steps.

💻OMG Tech💻

The End

On Monday 24 students were selected to go to a programme called OMG Tech. OMG tech is a place where you can create Games .

It is a place where you create robotics. OMG Tech is managed by
Zoey and Matt. OMG Tech was streamed all over New Zealand. It is a privilege and  honour to go there. At OMG Tech we created two games. The purpose of our two games was to not pollute our school. One of the games was you needed get out of the maze with rubbish in the bin.

🕵️‍♂️Finding George🕵️‍♂️

WALA: the WW1.

Finding George is a book about a soldier who fought in the World War. This Book was written by Henrietta Bollinger. Henrietta Bollinger is the great great niece of George Bollinger (the famous New Zealand Soldier).

Here is what Henrietta Bollinger has written in the first paragraph.
"George Wallace Bollinger was an ANZAC soldier at Gallipoli. Over a hundred thousand men died there in 1915, including almost 2,800 New Zealanders. My sister and I learnt about George when we researched a history project for school. It turned out that his diary was kept at the Alexander Turnbull Library in Wellington. So we went there to take a look. Along with the diary, we found George’s letters and photos and will – all the usual things you might expect. But we also found something else: a letter from a private detective. He had been paid by the army to spy on George. It seemed that although my uncle thought of himself as an ordinary New Zealander, the same as his mates, not everyone saw it that way"

The Comrades Marathon was the idea of a WW1 veteran who wanted to create a memorial to his comrades (friends) who had been killed in the war. 34 people entered the first race in 1921 and last year (2018) 20,000 people took part in the 90 km ultramarathon.
