Friendship

IAL: How to use the S.E.E.E structure to write an explanation.

Some people struggle trying to get new friends. The only reason they find it hard is because they aren't being themselves. A great man said, “ Why fit in, when you were born to stand out”. The person who said that was one of my childhood heroes Dr, Seuss. No one knew what he was a doctor of but he was a very inspirational man.

Having friends is a gift. If you didn’t have friends you wouldn’t be where you are now and you wouldn’t have achieved what you have accomplished now. If you struggle to make new friends. Here are 3 simple ways to make friends.

The first step is to conquer your fear and ask to introduce yourself to someone you know you can relate to. For example, if they love sports. Say “ Hey ____ did you see last night's rugby game “.

After you have done that, invite them or ask them to join in an activity.

After you have done the activity, ask them if they would like again some time. If they say yes that means you have become their new friend.

In conclusion, making friends isn’t really that hard you just have to be a good listener and always remember to be yourself. Let's take a recap of all the steps on how to get a friend. First Introduce yourself, second see if you both have something in common and lastly invite them to an activity. In my experience, I never found it hard to get any friends. What I did is do those simple steps now I have lots of friends.
