ATHLETICS

It was a sunny day and Tamaki Primary School had  athletics on the 23rd of november in the morning we went to our colourful house colour and we had face paint, necklaces and colour clothes to match our team colour. Our teams were called Tripoli,Benghazi,Aleiman and Tobrouk and when it was 9:30 o'clock our teams were at the dots and we were chanting to our tents my team was called tripoli. After that we were racing starting from year 1’s to  year 8’s the judges were Miss kelly and Mrs Micic and kelly they were doing the points for our teams. When I was racing I was very nervous and I thought that I was gonna lose .when It was the finals they called out my name and I was very shocked.when I was competing to others I came 5th It was fun and I tried my best. My favourite event was Long jump. It helped me test my jumping skills.

  1. Hey there Auckland,
it's Jedi again. This is an awesome summary of the day, and it sounds like it was a busy one. Was it? I see that you are in Tripoli house, what colour is that? Here at Yaldhurst we have Hillary- Blue, Edgar- Green, Rutherford-Red and Ormsby- Yellow. I am the house leader for Hillary (The best team) with my friend Mia. We lead our house for the relay team, I love relay's.

Anyways, I see that you have added a document, slide or drawing of some sort. Now as you might have figured, I sadly do not know what it is. Because you haven't changed the sharing link. But then again your intro basically summed up the whole event.

Keep up the Great work Auckland!

  2. Hey Auckland!
My name is Chloe I am a year 8 from Yaldhurst Model School.
This blog post is super! I was just wondering what colour is the house you are in? I'm the Ormsby house leader at my school, the colour is yellow.

I have just realised you said the athletics was on the 23rd November, but 23rd hasn't been yet? So you might want to fix that to the actual date.

Remember to put capitals at the start of your sentences. This remind me of when we had athletics at my school, it was super fun.

    Kind regards
    - Chloe

  3. Hi there Auckland
Is that actually your name? Sorry, I just find it funny that your name is Auckland and you live in Auckland.

Your summary/intro of your day is great! I know what you did, how you felt about the experience and if you got into the finals. I applaud you for getting 5th. *(^o^)*

I also went to athletics and accidently bummped into a girl really hard, I still feel really embarresed and guilty about the whole thing. (-_-;) But besides that, it was great. ...For the first 2 hours. I was only in for sprints and waited for the day to sluggishly move on. Watching my friends making Tic Toks can be pretty boring.

I think your doc would've been great. But I can't see it. If you click on share and then advanced. Looking closly, you can find the word in blue, "change". Click on it and press "Puplic on the web" so everyone can view it. I've also made this mistake too so don't get to beat up.

How many of your friends got into the finals? Hope to see you again and bye!

  5. Hi there Auckland, my name is Abby and I am a year 7 student at Yaldhurst Model School, WOW! Good job at getting 5th.

I like the way you have a video of some of your athletics, it helps make your blog more interesting to read and look at.

This reminds me of my athletics day that was a while ago. I don't know what place I got but I didn't go to zones.

Next time you could say what color you were and what team was the best. I am in Rutherford, that is red.

What was your favourite part of athletics day?

    Kind regards,
    Abby.
